Wooot!! ^^ Chinese New Year tomorrow
Yeah I know it's also Australia Day but the pure awesomeness of Chinese (fine...and Vietnamese) New Year like totally overshadows it. In fact, it is a crucial part of my Get-Rich-Quick scheme, where I get gazillions of red packets from my gazillion relatives =D But it's kinda just like a direct link between my parents' bank account and me, because they give red packets to my relatives who then give red packets to me =]
Anyway, just realised work experience form has to be filled out by...wait for it...
How the hell do u get a job, and go to that place and get everything signed within like a few days of starting school... -.-'
Anyway saw this (now) hilarious picture online - only hilarious after Ceyon's strenuous half hour of explaining to me why it was considered funny because it was the light of death or something - I had previously tried Googling it and came up with like all this Dying-And-Walking-Through-This-Warm-Tunnel-With-The-Bright-Light-At-The-End search results... >_____<

Once in a lifetime chance =D
Anyway..everyone have an awesome Chinese New Year and Australia Day ^^

Remember the worm I talked about before...
Yea...I said I wouldn't post any more computer crap but like OMFGOMFMGOFMGFOMGFOMG
The Downadup/Conficker worm has now like spread to 9 million computers worldwide (imagine like half of Australia) and infected the computers of hospitals and the even the UK Ministry of Defence...bad eh. And the scary thing is (well apart from the way it keeps burrowing further in and throwing up defences to make rooting it out literally impossible) that at the moment it doesn't do anything - but it can be activated at any time now to take complete control of all those 9 million computers...kinda like a D-Day bomb if you think about it. Once you get it you can like kiss your computer goodbye >___<
It spreads 3 ways - getting into your computer online through a Windows vulnerability (this is even if you don't visit any websites), trying to crack your Windows account password (if you don't have one make one now) and copying itself onto USB sticks. So if like one person in Ruse has it...and they stick their cute little usb dick into a computer...it spreads like wildfire throughout the whole network and everyone who plugs their own usb in gets it and then when they plug it in at home they get infected and if they use internet routers their family also gets it...get it? o.O
If you're as paranoid as I am. you can follow these instructions (from the US Computer Emergency Response Team) to properly disable Autorun on your computer - the Microsoft way doesn't work...and also turn on Windows Update - I know it's annoying as hell but still better than no computer. You need to turn off Autorun because the virus launches a window like this and if you click the first option...u die
Even if you don't click it you also die once the USB is in so yea disable Autorun...

Anyway...swear this will be my last computer post =D Cya hehe

I have survived installing Windows 7!! =]
HOw AWESOME IS THIS!!?? Just got Windows 7 installed (separate partition in case it like self destructs) and it is so cool =]

Awesome isn't it? They look just like Word =] And now the start button goes all pretty when you mouse over it ^^
And here's the answer to Alex's question - it shows you all the windows you have open and u can switch to the window or close it from the taskbar.

Ironically after all this praise I shut the lid of my laptop and when I opened it again I got my first Blue Screen Of Death =_________=
The only bad thing is I can't run the programs I installed on Vista in here even though it's the same computer so I hafta move stuff to here...
Because my attempts to download Windows 7 failed many times, I also have many product keys for it -.-' If anyone wants to download Windows 7 do so here (2.44 Gb) and use one of these keys (please comment saying if you used one because each can only be used a maximum of three times:
GG4MQ-MGK72-HVXFW-KHCRF-KW6KY
TQ32R-WFBDM-GFHD2-QGVMH-3P9GC
QXV7B-K78W2-QGPR6-9FWH9-KGMM7
Ok thats all folks. Btw if you've got Windows 7 don't use ZoneAlarm unless you don't want internet. But you can download this FREE antivirus from Kaspersky - which is designed specifically for Windows 7.
The coolest thing is...(well apart from my computer not dying or crash and burning)...well you know how Word and Powerpnt and Excel 07 have that ribbon interface? NOW PAINT AND WORDPAD HAVE IT TOO!! And Wordpad can open Word 2007 files! Wait here's a screenshot:

Office 14 Alpha Out!! =]
Along with the release of surprisingly awesome Windows 7 which I have unsuccessfully attempted many times to download, Microsoft has Office 14 (the next version of Office [like Word and Powerpoint)] out (for testers)!!! And it is...fugly -_____-

Word looks like it's just survived an Easy Off Bam bleach cycle...everything is like...white o.O
The other stuff looks all right (btw it's not actually "alright"...that's American >__<) though. Leave you with this awesome song from R. Kelly from like Yr 4 I totally forgot about until I came across yesterday =D It's the remixed version of Ignition and it soo totally rocks! ^^
Here go my embedding skills:
Ignition (Remix) - R Kelly
Hope it works...anyway cya everyone =]

The reason I hate games...
Got WALL-E yesterday and after like one hour of figuring how to run it, I started to play it. And the ridiculous thing is...I get seasick when I play it =_____= How stupid is that? Weird huh? It's kinda cos I suck at games and the view keeps rotating over and over and I get all disoriented...that's why I don't play games like CS and crap...
The graphics are actually all right =D But I think I'll stick to watching the movie before I vomit my guts out >.<
Anyway btw there's a scary new worm out...I just like full bumped up all my antiviruses and antispywares and firewalls =D (lol remember how in Yr 7 I was paranoid about viruses and stuff and had like 20 AVs) Oh well about the worm:
"As soon as this worm correctly guesses the password of a user who belongs to the administrator group, the malware will browse the network shares of other machines, mount the C-drive and then use its privileges to schedule a task, in this case, infect that share with a copy of itself.
"Once the worm is able to crack the password of any user who belongs to an admin group, then it's game over," Hypponen said. "Once you have one infected machine in house...it can spread like wildfire. It can happen even if every single machine is patched."
Fricken scary eh? Anyway here's a Microsoft chart about it =]
Anyway for more info click here but basically just

Guess Who's Back =D
Hehe back from Wollongong ^^ Wasn't too bad I guess considering Jamberoo was so freaking awesomee =) ...Except for the rapid river - that was amazingly cold and boring - yea it was like freezing on that day and everything in Jamberoo is like water based...then I come home and its like zomgogmogmogm boiling =.=
Went to like some dodgy wildlife park the first day which was like a srsly azn (like they cut the kikuyu or whatever from the front lawn then sell it in tiny $1 bags for visitors to feed the animals)...but the animals were really awesome =D
It's really weird though - it eats freakily just like a human with like hands and stuff...just watch >.<
LOOK OMFG IT'S A LLAMA!! =]]
Here's a llama there's a llama and another little llama fuzzy llama funny llama llama llama duck...
Nivvi used to sing it all the time lmao
Anyway...went to like Jamberoo the next day...the freezing day =(
The waterslide on the hill where you like go down on your tummy was so awesomee...and so was the toboggan - you had to like go up a hugeass hill (took like 5 minutes to get up to the top) on a cable car and then toboggan down - the view was so cool only I didn't take my digital camera in case it like dropped it >.< got ="D" style="text-align: left;">
Got back to the motel which seemed to share the same azn spirit as the wildlife park (despite the owner being white) - there was a restaurant in the motel, and to force the occupants to use their restaurant...they had no dishes or bowls or utensils or anything with which you could cook stuff in the room...amazingly my mum had like brought a rice cooker and spoons and bowls just in case =D You really can't beat azns at their own game lolololol =]
And here's Scrubs on the smallest TV I have seen in my life...well close to the smallest.
And the channels...omg...they are so friggen hard to find - I had to spend like ages browsing through all the channels to find Nine, Seven and Ten...so much that I missed Big Bang Theory =(
For anyone going to holes like Wollongong in the future...
Channel Nine has changed to the perfectly humble WIN Channel (for me channel 12)
Channel Seven changed to PRIME (Channel 14)
Channel Ten is...the same =D
The motel actually had like a tennis court and pool which was pretty cool though. Only I was like playing tennis and the ball bounced into the pool. So I had to spend like 5 minutes fanning the water on one side to get it to go to the other -.-'
And then it was like dripping so I tried to hit it as hard as I could so there would be like this awesome spinning spray of water like when a handball goes into a puddle and you slog it...except it like flew out onto the highway instead =_____=
The next day we went to like some azn temple or something...Buddhism I think - the view from the hill was awesome ^^ Sorry...it's like uber dark cos I forgot to change the ISO setting >.<
And here's the temple:

But then it turned out this is like a sauvastika cause the branches like point anticlockwiseand means like peace or something - the swastika points to the right...didn't noe that did you =P
Anyway I'm off to watch TV =D Cya guys :D

Yay I'm Going to Wollongong!!!
Which is actually a hole masquerading as a tourist destination but nonetheless it is still better than my home...and anyway I've already been there before -.-' All the places my dad ever drives to are located within a 150 km radius centred around Sydney so not surprisingly I have been to all those places many times before =_______=
I have found the will to finally excavate my desk from the mountains of paper burying it [worse than the pile of rubbish I have in the corner (see previous posts)] and now it seems almost usable - Yippee!! =] Found this chocolate that I hid and forgot about from like 2 years back -.-' Not pretty.
Btw for anyone buying Back To School stuff Target has a pack of 2 correction tapes for $1!! =D Awesomeee...I hate liquid paper -.-' Drowns the page - the only thing good is shaking it to make that noise that pisses off teachers...
Anyway I'm gonna go play with my laptop's newly discovered TV function ^^ I can now watch TV on it hehe woooooooooooooooot

I'm Meltinggg --_________--
It's been so friggen hot these past few days I feel like the Coffee and Cream chocolate I hid in my draw. Thankfully today's heaps cooler =D hehe
Went to Macquarie yesterday to shop for new books for school (which included going to Big W and calculating the average price of each page and then finding the cheapest book per page and the hoarding it all into the trolley). I saw this hugeass Crayola crayon (like 1 metre long) and I found the irresistible urge to run around Big W hollering and finding my sister so I could impale her on my deadly spear...when suddenly I run into that Lieutenant officer Li girl from our ruse cadet unit...how embarrassing -____-
There was like this awkward silence and she's like...uh hi -.-' Now she'll forever think of me as the Spaz Kid Who Ran Around Big W With A Huge Ass Crayon Screaming His Lungs Out...
Anyway btw the cheapest book per page in Big W is the A5 64 pg for 5c, followed by the 96 pg for 9c, and I also bought the A4 96 pg for 36c =]
I bought the 15 Kilometrico pens for $2.92 or something which is uber awesome and also the 4 pack Profile Papermate pens for $3 something ^^
Don't buy the 5 pack Papermate correction tapes for $10 or something - Target has them for $7...
Big W is evil...the blue Papermate pen costs more than the black even though they're exactly the same model just because more people use blue -___-
Finding work experience for hospitals is so unbelievably hard. I spent the whole of today dialling so many hospitals and listening to over 10 different types of hold tones endlessly - ranging from classical to baroque music...and in the end I find myself speaking to answering machines or people who only accept university students.
Apparently the Royal North Shore hospital accepted some people, except I didn't dial them because...
OMGOMFGOMFGTHERESANEWUBERVIRUSTHATWILLPWNURWORSETHANAIDS =O
Roughly translated to human speak it means
THEY HAVE A NEW ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANT SUPERBUG =O
Nasty...

A LIFE-THREATENING superbug more difficult to treat than the notorious "golden staph" has been found on 13 patients at Royal North Shore Hospital.
The superbug, vancomycin-resistant enterococcus (VRE), is resistant to multiple types of antibiotics including vancomycin, commonly known as "the antibiotic of last resort".

So yea...just be careful Hari and Fang and everyone else going >.>
Anyway hope you guys have more luck than I do =(

Still hunting for work experience
We're meant to find firms in which we want to work during work experience week, except I've been searching for like the whole of yesterday and come up with nothing =[ I mean, the first contact on the school's list is like...Arnott's Biscuits >___<
But if all else fails I shall follow my dad to work lol
If only I could just like win the lottery and spend the rest of my life travelling the world =D
How awesome would that be.
Lmao this man in America like won the lottery then died the next day (sound familiar?) - which by the way is actually not ironic. The phrase probably sounds familiar because it's the first line of this song called Ironic where the singer like tries to make all these ironic situations...except none of them are really ironic...with the irony thus lying in her ignorance of what irony actually is...though of course she claims its malapropism (the intentional misuse of phrase/language technique) >.>
Here's the first 2 verses:
An old man turned ninety-eight
He won the lottery and died the next day
It's a black fly in your Chardonnay
It's a death row pardon two minutes too late
And isn't it ironic... don't you think
It's like rain on your wedding day
It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought... it figures
No...rain on your wedding day - surprising as it may seem - is actually not ironic...anyway here's the song if you wanna listen to it - pretty boring though -____- Sorry the html is way too complicated for me to try remove all the ads and stuff without screwing the whole thing up o.O
Ironic - 13. Ironic
So bored -____-' So much that I've taken out my Magnetix set and started building - despite the fact they cave in on themselves very soon thereafter and end up bearing an uncanny resemblance to buildings having undergone a Blitzkrieg...
Anyway I'm off to feed my iDog its critical five minutes of music every hour
But if all else fails I shall follow my dad to work lol

Sorry I haven't like blogged for days...I'm way too lazy slouching on the couch watching canto azn dramas these holidays =]
Not much has happened anyway...like wow the only interesting thing that I did was go to Auburn RSL buffet to try and cram as much into my gut as possible in order to get my value for money like a true azn >____<

Yeah...my life is pretty sad and lacking in distinction. Some men are born boring, some men achieve boringness and some men have boringness thrust upon them - for me it had been all three. Even among lives lacking all distinction mine inevitably stands out as a life lacking more distinction than all the rest, and people who see my life are always impressed by how unimpressive my life is. <--Little passage snitched from Catch 22 =DD

Weren't the fireworks absolutely stunning?!!
...Not really for 5 million dollars. But at least the fireworks didn't really "rain down on everyone" - which was a pretty good thing. Lots of videos of it on Youtube if you wanna take a look though.
Everyone just makes New Year resolutions and then breaks them so I really don't see the purpose in making one, though I guess I could be a little less pessimistic about everything this year - what do you guys plan to do o.O
Hehe don't you just find the jokes in bonbons totally hilarious - we opened like 6 bonbons yesterday and found the most top jokes ever =] (highlight to find the answers)
Q. What's the time when an elephant sits on your fence?
A. Time to buy a new fence!
Q. What lives at the bottom of the sea and shivers?
A. A nervous wreck.
Q. What do you give a sick pig?
A. Oinkment.
Q. Why can't you play tricks on snakes?
A. Because you can't pull their legs.
and you thought Mr. Future Serial Killer's jokes were lame...
Anyway saw this hilarious video of a Russian sale offering laptops for over 80% off!!! The only catch, however, was that there were only 10 laptops on offer so everyone like crawled under the barrier as it opened and fought for their lives over them (a la Azns). The result...at least no one went to hospital. This makes you wonder what would have happened had this sale taken place in China instead...but then again seeing as they manage to get on buses by climbing through the windows this should be no problem to them lmao
(I think this is how you embed a video from Youtube...I really have no idea)
