Today, after working for a bit, I decided to check my email. And WOOOT OMG YAY. I made the final interview! So stoked . . . never thought I would actually make it this far. It's on my birthday too =D But looks really intense - they have online tests for you to do on the spot, panel interview, then technical and written test. But I don't know any technicalities about engineering so I don't know what we're expected to do ='( Hopefully it's just physics.
Had a look at the site where they're gonna conduct the interview on Google Earth. It looks like this haha . . . hopefully there's a building when I go =P
Had 4U maths yesterday. I thought I did okay (considering I'm not great at 4U and ranked down there), but then I went on Bored of Studies and there were all these people preaching about their guesstimates of getting 95-105. Obviously there's always those cocky few on BOS who think they know everything, but almost all of them said they got 90s. sigh. They had the most random questions yesterday.
Oh well. Guess I should start studying for 3U for tomorrow, bye bye people >=]
Ramblings of a Rusian =]
will fill in later =\

Oops, okay I did it again
Yeah, I kind of ditched my blog again. It was probably because every blog post would take me like 2 hours to type up, but I guess I should just do shorter blog posts. Have a whole backlog of stuff I want to blog about including summer camp from last year's summer holidays (lol), school this year, graduating, and the HSC. sigh . . . the HSC.
But Blogger has improved their blog composer! No more painstakingly slow uploading images 5 at a time, having to drag them all the way down from the top of the document, moving it to where I want it in the blog post, and then realising the link to the original picture disappeared.
They have this new dynamic themes thingy, where you can have a timeline, or a mosaic of posts like some Tumblrs do, but I still like my blog layout the best . . . hopefully you guys do too =D
Just finished English on Tuesday and Wednesday forever! So incredibly happy I won't have to even hear of Skrzynecki's name again. No offence but Australia accepts him as a citizen (something that countless people cross oceans, sell everything they have in their homeland and would be eternally grateful for), and he writes not just a few poems, but a few books of "poems" to vent his anger at this?
Anyway, yes, writes a few books all whinging and moping about how he's lost his cultural heritage, how Australia has estranged him from his father, how it's all Australia's fault, referring to the "conflicting loyalties he experiences as he is torn between his cultural heritage of Poland and status as a citizen of Australia". Funny how hundreds of thousands of immigrants have been able to retain their cultural identity but also integrate into Australian life, don't know what makes him so special.
After the 200th poem, you really feel like pimpslapping him and shouting "ENOUGH, Skrzynecki!".
If you haven't read his poetry, don't bother. A Year 7 student would undoubtedly do a superior job, and if you sent it in the same thing as your Extension II English project, I'm sure you would get like an 8/20.
Though of course, with the double standards of Board of Studies English, the texts they want to promote are unconditionally idolised and bestowed with the greatest honour, with bullshit techniques pulled out of their ass.
Haven't really done anything since English on Wednesday . . . feeling like a bit of a tool since 4U maths (the backbone of my ATAR) is 3 days away but too cbf. Been feeling kind of nervous this week, since medicine interview offers supposedly come out around early October, and it's late October now but I still haven't heard from UNSW or University of Newcastle (do they call that UNCLE?)
Has anyone gotten an offer?
Luckily though, I would love to do law and engineering and vet too, so if I don't get into med I have so many options to follow =)
Been trying to apply for an engineering cadetship. Those things are insanely difficult! Like seriously, it's like hardcore co-op scholarship (which I stupidly didn't apply for because the 9 questions were too long, and now I regret). For cadetships, you first need to submit a resume, reference, photo of a practical project you've done relevant to the field, 2 referees, and answers about community service and where you've demonstrated innovation. Submitted my application a bit past the due date, but luckily it was long weekend, so had a few extra days hehe
Then only after that, they choose some people to do an online test, with insane IQ and personality tests. The bummer is, their personality tests also have a "lie-meter", to detect the probability of you being dodgy. But I get all awkward because what if I'm answering truthfully and they think I'm lying, and end up answering the questions strangely.
Then 16 people get a half hour phone interview, where you get asked 5 really hard questions to think on the spot. Stuff like strategies in meeting deadlines, conflicts, where you've helped someone enormously, customer service, etc.
And only then do 10 people get chosen for an interview before a panel of interviewee, ultimately with five people awarded the cadetship. Wish I could get it, but it's so hard. Oh well here's to hoping for the best =D
Been procrastinating the whole of today, looking at 90s songs again. Wasn't music so much better back then? The new trance stuff sucks =[
Does anyone still remember this song, Shine by Vanessa Amorosi? Reminds me of the old Ansett Australia ads.
R.I.P. Ansett. Now we're trapped with the silly leprechaun Alan Joyce and his Qantas. Who apparently "still call Australia home". Right. Always thinking of how to increase his profits . . . hey let's send production overseas! Hey let's charge people $7 for a sandwich. Better still for value, a bottle of Berri Juice and sandwich for $15. Oh, haha, you didn't know about the baggage limit? Too bad, $10 per kg over.
Perhaps take a leaf out of O'Leary's book and make one toilet per aircraft. 200 passengers+cabin crew, and one holy lavatory. Why waste precious space with toilets when you could seat people there?! BTW toilets will cost £1 each use. Also printing boarding passes using their machines instead of in your home printer will set you back £40. Ahh, these people. What will they think of next?
But anyway, back to the awesome song!
Cool story: The song is called Shine, but I could never decipher it. Made no sense at all because it talks about people drowning and pain and suffering, then suddenly goes "Everyone you see, everyone you know is gonna . . . Shine". Turns out it was written about one of her friends who suicided, and she called it "Die", to talk about how you should "seize the day". But the record company changed it so it would be a better hit ==; Stripped away all meaning from the song.
Yes, that is all. I shall go look for my maths books and loose sheets from Perrins to start studying for 4U finally. And wow, how hot is it today. SUMMER IS COMING!!!
Bye bye, good luck with exams everyone!! =]

"poems"
(but let's be honest
more or less
like blog posts formatted

throw in a simile here . . . uhhh,
lame as a llama

Sunday Morning Is My Favourite Morning
Feels so good to have a good sleep in every Sunday morning. Sitting here in my cosy little room with the sun shining brightly outside [EDIT: it's cloudy by the time I've finished writing this =(], while sipping a warm cup of tea =) And listening to soppy songs like "Wild Mountain Thyme" and "You Are My Sunshine" LOL. Hunted it down on Youtube after hearing it on that (very punny) Sunbeam ad "You Are My Sunbeam" cause I haven't heard it for so long. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, even though the song's actually meant to be really sad =O
This week was pretty relaxed at school - didn't have much work after prelims. Had the Year 12 Awards Day on Tuesday, one of the most exhilarating and stirring events of the year. This annual, ultimate test of endurance once again proved too Herculean for the nation's academic elite, with literally the entire hall of students subtly escaping to the land of Nod whilst (unsuccessfully) attempting to give the impression of being alert.
Got to take chemistry paper back on Thursday. Pooviah wanted to see me and ask why I'd done so badly in chemistry in comparison to my physics; luckily when I got to the staffroom and just started to talk she saw this Year 12 who hadn't come to see her that morning and so she let me go phewww.
Looking back at the chemistry paper, it turns out that for the solubility practical, they'd actually given us the names of all the solutions, and we just had to match them up to bottles A, B, C and D. Lost 11 marks because I skimmed over the list of solutions and forgot about it later. Did it at home again in like 2 minutes ==;
Man I'm procrastinating so much . . . I should totally be studying for HSC Ag =[ I'm betting everyone else is already.
Anyway, speaking of Ag . . . look what I found on Facebook today!
Mr Brown has Facebook!
Stumbled across his Facebook page! For the uninitiated, Mr Brown was our head teacher of Ag and co-authored Dynamic Agriculture =D Must say that he's one of the best teachers ever.
And lastly, for the lazy guys in my Physics class, here are our prac results =P
Okay have to go work now. Won't have any time tonight cause we're going to my uncle's home (woooohooo meeting my nephews again =D)
Gooodday =]

The end draweth nigh
Sorry for having abandoned my blog for the past year. Doesn't quite feel like a ¾ of a year's gone by, but it has, and Year 11's drawing to a close in 7 days. It's just started to strike me that from now on, everything actually counts which really scares me (and also the fact that I really have no idea at all what the future holds). No more staying up doing nothing but Youtubing, Facebooking and chatting. My results in HSC Ag trials and my prelims really aren't as great as I would really like them to be, but at least I have another year to fix up my routine.
Got Maths 3U paper back today . . . and everyone failed. Not like the Asian "fail" where 2 marks off means not passing; this is REAL failing, where you score below 30 out of 60 =O
To put that into perspective:
- 1 person in Maths 7 passed (i.e. 50% or above)
- The highest mark in the grade was 80%
- Maths 1 average was 62%
- Maths 2 average was 58%
Apparently the first question (3 marks) was like a past Westpac AMC question, which is just stupid, totally not worth the marks and purposely put there to throw us off. So many people wasted like 4 minutes on it, and in the end got ½ a mark (like me). Ultimately, Question 1 ended up being the toughest section ==;
My marks weren't all that great, but funnily I don't feel as disappointed as other people. I think it's because I've just been completely numbed by this barrage of bad marks in other subjects too.
Anyway, what's happened this whole year? Nothing much to be honest. I swear this whole year we've literally learnt nothing at all (except for maths); everything's just been a revision of what we learnt in Yr 9 and 10.
We got to start the year off with Crossroads though, which was pretty awesome. Went to Collaroy again but it was way more fun than the Peer Support training camp we had last year =P
Hehe accidentally got a shot of Daniel and Bella.
Our group letting Kevin do all the hard work as usual xD
Went to this cool retro movie theatre at night and watched that cartoon Dragon movie - that one with the really cute black dragon. Can't remember the name of it anymore...but everyone was pleasantly surprised but how good it turned out to be. Just again shows that cartoons aren't just for little kids =)
Speaking of which, I can't wait to see Despicable Me! It looks so hilarious and adorable - especially that trailer where you see Agnes with toy unicorn screaming "IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE. IT'S SO FLUFFFFAAAAAY >=O" while furiously shaking it up and down.
Walked back to the camp in the dark. Managed to get this really nice pic of the dining room:
I love how they put Christmas lights around the balcony all year round. Makes the atmosphere feel so much warmer and happier =).
Next day was pretty freaky for me, seeing as I'm not really that much into that adrenaline stuff and we had to go on the giant swing. Ended up screaming like an idiot the whole way down xD
Jero looks so sad in this photo ='(
Anyway to summarise what I did in Year 11, 2010,
I basically:
- Touched my first ever Agricultural newspaper
- Learnt nothing in Physics
- Actually learnt something in Chem from the beastly Kevin Lam!
- Watched the sun rise many times
- Saddened and amazed by the greed of some peopleWhen this poll closed, the numbers were still 50/50. It's quite sad half the people would steal the $100,000 and run
- Got a green tick from BitDefender Antivirus! These ticks are not given out liberally nor are they easy to get.
- Watched unhealthy amounts of Big Bang Theory
- Owned the computer in chess. BOOYEAH satisfying
- Learnt that SMH and co. are actually terrible newspapers ==;
The sky here is actually a much more brilliant red than the photo shows. My Olympus is mediocre at reproducing colour.
Quintuple KILLLL

Because there's nothing I like more than a huge helium balloon hovering over the text when I'm reading.
And yeah...that's about all I did LOL. Gonna go sleep now, so tired - there's been this pipe construction thing going on outside my house for the last 2 weeks . . . and they ONLY work at night from 9pm-4am when the traffic is light ==; It's been impossible to sleep with the huge trucks banging and stuff.
It's bright as day =O
Off to sleep now . . . goodnight ppl!!!

Woohoo. School's in!

School.
How goddamn exciting. I think there comes a point where you've been excited so many times about it being the first day of school that you become jaded and don't give a crap anymore. Because you realise that this year will just be the same as the previous 11. Despite what you thought at the beginning of every other year.
Oh wow. I haven't blogged for so long. Today is the first day of the lunar calendar. It is now CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! Wooh! =P
"But this year's different. We're seniors!"
Apart from having an easier to stain shirt which will mean more washing the more often I spill tomato sauce on it, it's the same =___________=
Year 11 just means more work, less sleep, less fun, but otherwise it's the same. BACK IN MY DAYYY, we used to have Mrs O'Reilly/Mr Howlett for maths, Mr Ballantyne/Khoury for science, Mrs Mayers for English and Mr Brown for Agriculture, etc.
Not that my new teachers aren't cool. In fact, I'm pretty happy about the teachers I have. But it's just not nearly as fun now. And they get pretty pissed if you even say one word in class. Like Mr Perrins this week - he's so nice and has an awesome English accent and is haxxor at maths, but was so annoyed at our talking he went up to the cupboard and kicked it and told us to shut up. o_O
Anyway, here's a brief summary of my past favourite teachers =) You can skip over this if you want. It might get a liiiitle bit boring =P
Mr Dunkerley: Funniest jokes and awesome cynical attitude towards everything that just made Geography, my most hated subject in Year 7, fun. Every lesson he'd shock us in telling us there was a surprise quiz (quite often there was), or he'd get this rubber cockroach from his wooden box slideout lid pencase and throw it onto someone's desk when they weren't looking and enjoy watching them scream (random diversion . . . there was a FROG in our classroom today! O_O A FROG!!!). Really knew his geography. Like really knew it, even though he specialised in economics, so you can imagine how beast he would be at that! Always brought in interesting and hilarious news snippets to show us. In fact, he made me actually kind of like Geography so much I somehow came first that year =)
Mrs O'Reilly: Super nice, caring and groovy teacher whom we were lucky enough to have in Year 8 (our class 8A was the only class out of the grade to ever have her). A total WHIZ at maths, and someone manages to help everyone in her class rank really well even without much hard work at all! Always smiling, with fiery, reddish curly hair, and dedicated. And she would like give us Smarties and stuff under the excuse of performing a probability study on the frequency of each colour of Smarties. Also had these bludgy maths games she played all the time =D Heard how she like spent a whole period playing on someone's DS after she discovered the kid playing it. Legend!! =P Under her, even the people who are like at the bottom of the grade now did extremely well. Sadly, she's gone off to Oakhill College to become the Head of Maths, but she'll still be like the one of the best maths teacher we've had.
Mr Howlett: Another maths teacher whom I had last year. Such a nice guy who always tries really hard to make sure you understand everything, going through the proofs even though many people (like me =P) only see the point of knowing the formulae. So dedicated that he marks geometry questions by printing out a giant A4 diagram, and marking in everything that you have/haven't proved. Isn't as beast at maths as some other teachers, but certainly makes up for it with his hard work. Also make sure you do every single question on every worksheet, because for bookmark he has a list of worksheets and questions that should have been done and ticks them off for every single kid. So nice that every maths period is like a fun session where you can like socialise and chat (we actually loved double maths), though he often tries to get us to be quiet. But gets drowned in our voices. So he sometimes shouts to try and get us to listen, and our class becomes quiet for 30 seconds, but after that is as loud as it was before. Gotta feel a little sorry for him =) A little hard to learn from him though, but as long as you listen instead of talk you'll be all right.
Mr Howlett's catchphrases (only if you've ever had him you would know these phrases very well):
=>Uh, 10J, I'd like to get some work done this period.
=>10J, some quiet would be nice, thank you.
=>You should NOT be doing maths enrichment in class. That was meant to be done at home.
=>Hey! Again. Stop talking and get some work done!
=>Uh, AGAIN. Some people have barely started on their work.
=>I will be collecting your book not next week, but the week after that (only Howlett's nice enough to give you a 2 week warning period. Most teachers tell you the night before).
Okay, I shall stop talking about teachers until next post so you guys don't fall asleep =D
Anyway . . . so how did my first week of school go?
Boring - extremely boring, but I guess I expected that =[ Realised that I have 15 periods of maths per fortnight - 5 days of double maths. Think about it. That's like (no wait, that is) having double maths for every day of one week. Then single maths for every day the week after.
=___________________=
But I have 5 free periods now! And 2 are on period 4 Wednesdays! Meaning if it's wet weather Wednesday, I can go home at 10:40 AM-ish! That's right! Wooh!!!
Had swimming carnvial on Thursday. Swam in all participation races just to help Rassack get some points! Yay!!! Except we came 3rd, losing to Jones by just 3 points. 3 points!!! If only Alvin had swum. I tried to get him to swim for at least one race, and he kept promising to swim with me in the next race. Except kept dogging every single race =[
If only like one of all those lazy Rassack people sitting in the standings doing maths homework had come and participated T____T So lazyyyyy guys
Afterwards went around to the baby pool where everyone was hanging around playing Spoons. Everyone felt a strong affinity for the baby pool. That's right. The uncannily warm one. I wonder why =)
But we still all just ran in cause it was so awesome. And warm hehe
Pretty funny cause Lowcock would start shouting at us over the megaphone PA system to get out of the pool. Except no one came out, until Connors came along. And then 10 minutes later, after sneaking back, the pool would be just as full as before, and it would take Mr Lowcock a further 10 minutes to realise. And Wratten didn't do anything =P She just stood by the pool and laughed at people getting dunked it xDD
____________________________________________________________________
Oh wow. I haven't blogged for so long. Today is the first day of the lunar calendar. It is now CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! Wooh! =P
Never got around to actually blogging cause we had our lovable Potato Trial for agriculture for the past week. Oh, how we love our spuds! Lol our class' trial was the dodgiest of all - we got non significant results due to the standard error being too big, we forgot to weigh the potatoes in the last row and so averaged it, and we had like huge water fights over our plots. =DD
So annoying how the more time I set apart for something to be done, the longer it takes for me to do it. It's ridiculous! T__________T And then the exam on the Potato Trial was on the day the assignment was due in, so I was like crazily tired from staying up and rushing it.
The exam was 6 marks, 3 questions. 2 mark for each question. A simple question, and I managed, after squeezing every last piece of bs out of me, to write 2 pages. And there were 20 min left. BUT the whole hall was still furiously scribbling away! T_____T HOW CAN YOU WRITE SO MUCH ABOUT NOTHING!!! I was like mentally screaming at them to stop writing. Seriously, each question could have been answered in 2 sentences. 2 marks. Except every ended up writing like 4 pages!! O_O
Now I feel bad .___.
Ah well, I shall go head off and actually do some work for once =) and catch up on other blogs lol
and to go and listen to the song richard is doing for musical
i hope he gets a lead role =]
anyway . . . off to do some hard workkkk on my stupid english essay on stupid old horny judith wright. Woman to Man is the most sick poem ever T___T

TSONGA!!!
Nah, I don't care blogging about the first day of school! There's way more important things out there . . . like TSONGA beating DJOKOVIC!!! Woooh! =DD
Well I like Djokovic but . . . TSONGA is the best!!! How can you not love this guy x]]] He's such a legend and hilarious too - plus he never loses his temper and the only time he shouts is at himself to concentrate :)
He reminds me so much of a little kid haha =)
I SHALL JUST POST THIS TO SHOW richard how awesome tsonga is
TBC . . . =D

What Happened to Lil Eddie?!
Just stalked down his new song where he sings about . . . the Frog Prince. >facepalm< *Groan*
Instead drove off to Hunter Valley Gardens and saw this playground =) I miss playing Gladiators heh. I remember once I fell on my back and couldn't talk for like 10 minutes - it like paralysed my voice box =O I was like freaking out like shit cause I thought I wouldn't ever be able to talk again. And wanted to go like "HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT I CAN'T TALK." Except nothing came out. Literally.
Like no sound at all, and the only sound you can make at that point is the sound of when you clear your throat. Scary as O_O
Luckily after like 10 minutes I could scream at max volume again >=]
We saw this empty chapel, and then went in. It like overlooked an awesome view =D
Lol it also had a crying room

But then it became too hot and then we just went back in the car, and drove off to another random place (Hunter Valley is simply a long road with winery families all along it, and you just drive into each driveway and try their wines). It was like some tiny place with a few shops. One of which was a very lucky ice cream shop.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Haha look at that person's chubby arm =) Bet they eat lots of ice cream too!! hehe (I've totally fallen in love with ice cream these holidays lol)
Speaking of chubby, has anyone noticed the middle ballboy who always stands behind Nadal in his matches, like when vsing Luczak and Kohlschreiber? One of the ones in the blue shirts. She is like amazingly obese O_O I dunno how they chose her to become ballboy.
Oh, and after walking outside the store I saw this sign ==; But why wouldn't you let people take photos of your ice-cream?! Cos I might steal your secret recipes just by looking at the ice-creams? >=[[
Well SUCK THAT. I took lots of photos. Sue me.
After that we went on home. And as if by some miracle, perhaps it was due to my coaxing of the GPS, perhaps it was due to my mum's screaming at it to shut up, perhaps it was my father's defending of it, the GPS Navman . . . somehow screwed up even more. =___________=
Of course we were on a road! But could you tell GPS lady once again? Oh no, once again she knew she was 100% right. And no amount of persuasion or coaxing could make her think otherwise.
Stopped over at a rest place, and since I didn't need to go to the toilet, I decided to walk over to the picnic area and sit down. Then suddenly I saw this movement and all this rustling and suddenly went like "HOLY CRAP OMGOGMOMG". This hugeass goanna was near my foot and then climbed onto the tree.
That's one huge animal o.O
Ah well, AND THEN WE WENT HOME. THE END.
Anyway, Australia Day tomorrow!!! (technically today) And to celebrate Australia day, I have something very special to show us all! This happened last year . . . I was pouring some soy sauce onto my sushi, and after I was finished, I was literally blown away (haha not literally) at a soy sauce droplet IN THE SHAPE OF . . . AUSTRALIA!!! =DD
Feast your eyes, fellow australians hehe
Though I must admit I dragged in Tasmania using my chopsticks. But the rest is all there! The Great Australian Bight, Cape York, that bit with Darwin in it, Perth . . . everything! =D
Coincedence? I think not! x]
Here's a close up:

Ah well, I am off to a call of nature people! Happy Australia Day to you all!!! May the Commonwealth star, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon crusis stars (on the Australian flag) shine brightly and smile upon thee. Fare thee well, fellow Australian.
But it's still really good (as with all his songs naturally) so I uploaded it to my playlist!!! And partly because Lia was a HUGE fan of The Princess and the Frog (I think it was you =] Or someone else. I always remember half of stuff lol). Though it looks completely awful hehe. But yeah have a listen to it (click on the song in the Mixpod). It's still really good! And for once it's not country music in there ;)
Also finally found a good song by Usher again. Finally! The last ones I liked were like from 5 to 6 years ago. Yeah, Burn, and My Confessions. Check out the new one. It's called Fooling Around.
Another good one is Solo by Iyaz (the same guy who wrote Replay). Almost as super catchyas replay too!!! Except it doesn't carve itself a part of your cerebral cortex to embed itself in =DD
Sorry I haven't been blogging for so long. I would say that I've been too busy, but in reality I'm just too lazy =P Last Sunday went on this awesome lunch cruise with my extended family (and my super generous aunt shouted us ALL. It's like $50 per person!). She's so nice and always uber generous =]
I would upload photos of the really cool 3 storey (lol i just realised I spelt it storie in the cbox) ship except my sister took my camera and deleted all the photos after putting them on her own computer. Argh. Shall upload next time lol.
The next day we went to . . . *drumroll* the Central Coast!!!
All the places my dad ever drives to are located within a 150 km radius centred around Sydney so not surprisingly I have been to all those places many times before =_______=
-- i eat domos, 2009
Yay I'm Going to Wollongong!!!. Retrieved January 16, 2010
asdf yes im bored. i even referenced it properly!!! =D
And this time, there was no exception. By no means was this a deviation from the same routine we have followed for the last 8 years. No, that would be utterly unthinkable =O
The last time we went we spent an entire day on the Pacific Highway looking for the Central Coast RSPCA. We never found it even though we started in the morning until way into the day (like around 3pm) ==; And then on the last attempt (after realising we had missed it 3 times), we slowly drove past a tiny blue roadsign at an intersection pointing to RSPCA as if to taunt us. But then we just gave up because it was too hard to turn back (despite the fact we had done so 3 times).
____________________________________________________________________
Oops, sorry. Haven't been blogging for ages lol (this is 25th Jan). Been trying to actually do some work in the last week of the holidays but haven't even achieved anything. I get distracted way too easily by things like YouTube. ANYWAY, back to our great holiday =O
However, that no longer happens to us now! Because we have adopted a new member into our family. He calls himself the Navman (who has a girl's voice - har de har har =D) and is able to accuratly pinpoint to within 2 km of where we are. It's amazing!!! Simply, purely amazing - what a piece of junk $250 will get you.
To get constantly ordered around by a shrill, banshee-like, skull drilling voiced woman who shrieks out commands for the whole of the journey. I would imagine it's actually worse than getting a wife.
She started off all kind and courteous as we drove out of Sydney.
Continue straight for 5.9 kilometres. Continue straight.
But then she grew devious. That cunning, crafty bitch decided to confuse us a bit just to watch some mayhem unfold to satiate her sadistic desires.
In one-hundred metres, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit. Take the 2nd exit.
Panic ensued in the car. "What the hell does that even mean?!" "Where are we meant to go??" "Take the 2nd exit. Take the 2nd exit. blahblahblah." Luckily we had a map so we just followed it and kept going straight.
Well, after like 10 of these, we found out that apparently you're meant to count the exits in a clockwise direction from where you are. For example, taking the 2nd exit means going straight, because the 1st exit is to turn left.
Once we figured it out, the evil Nav(wo)man decided to attempt another trick to throw us off course.
She led us to a road. A road with a roundabout. A roundabout with 5 exits ==; And told us to take the 3rd exit.
My dad, whose driving and counting skills are right up there with GPS lady's navigational skills, ended up turning right when this time 3rd exit meant going straight (there were 2 exits on the left). However, we very soon turned around, and went back on track =D
But Navwoman was not to be so easily defeated >=[[
We were on the highway, with like about 100 or so kilometres left, and it's suddenly like

"In 50 metres, turn left. TURN LEFT."
Our whole family's like "wtf?!", but nooo, she insists on turning into that retarded road.
Slight offtrack: Haha "turning into that retarded road". That reminds me of that joke that Paul loves.
Q. When is a car not a car?
A. When it turns into a driveway.
A. When it turns into a driveway.
and another similar one:
Q. When is a door not a door?
A. When its ajar.
Anyway, back to the evil scheming machine . . .
"Perform a U-Turn when possible."
She said this at first with great calm and patience, but we ignored her and kept going straight. We were determined not to waver and surrender to the will of a machine. And she became increasingly hysterical.
"Perform a U-Turn now. Perform a U-Turn NOW."
We sweated and groaned and desperately fought back the crushing mind control she forced upon us to make us obey her, and finally we broke free of her mercilessly overwhelming, pulverising grip.
Finally got to the motel. Beautifully named the "Bali Hi Motel". As we drove in, my sister and I are like . . . "This looks shit."
Went in, and like any true azn, immediately turned on the aircon =D Took those little bottle soap things they give you, and started plugging out own stuff into the power outlets after unplugging their ugly bedside lamps xDD
To be honest, there is seriously absolutely nothing to do in Forster and Tuncurry. So we just walked around those stores they have there. Next day went off to Port Macquarie, where there was once again . . . nothing to do ==;
I have no idea why my dad always goes there - either there or Wollongong which is equally a hole with completely nothing to do. Wait I do. It's because he can't drive =[
I mean we could have gone to the Gold Coast or Melbourne or something .____.
So I just sat in the car for hours watching Zoolander and I Love You, Man. Awesome movies!!! Lol at the Derek Zoolander Center For Kids Who Can't Read . . . Good.
Got to Port Macquarie, walked around, ate some raw oysters, and suddenly my throat went all itchy. Maybe I'm partially allergic to oysters o_O
But yeah, my chinese medicine doctor was like "avoid oysters" when I saw him. Except I went "Pfffft I'm not even allergic to them." Except he ended up being right lol.
Seeing as I think everyone reading this blog is Chinese, I shall delve into the wonders of it.
According to chinese medicine, food that everyone should avoid include "yeet hay" foods like spring rolls, french fries, chips, and anything fried. Believe it or not, some fruits are "yeet hay" too like guava or something O_O
Am I done? Nope =D There's also a billion other types of bad foods, such as "sup yeet" foods, "chow (rhymes with coal) yeet" foods, etcetcetc T____T
Stuff like mango and other fruits I can't recall right now lol
Anyway, so then we drove back (boring eh?) and then went to Hunter Valley the next day. Which was like a 40° day!!! Argh!! Like you'd get this fiery wind roaring into your face as soon as you stepped out of the car. Wasn't much to see cause it was so hot that some places had power outages =[
Just went to the Information Centre and just bummed around there sitting in the air-con. Man's greatest invention. And my excuse against global warming enthusiasts is that it was the environment's fault that it was hot in the first place.
Hehe their touch screen information computer stuffed up! It's like "Touch for the best this city has to offer", so I touch it, and nothing happens =DD Which meaaaans that the best it has to offer is a dumb, stuffed up, boring machine.
Which is true enough. Hunter Valley has nothing for kids =[

Aha here's me tapping the screen like crazy. Mature, I know.
But then it became too hot and then we just went back in the car, and drove off to another random place (Hunter Valley is simply a long road with winery families all along it, and you just drive into each driveway and try their wines). It was like some tiny place with a few shops. One of which was a very lucky ice cream shop.
After that we went on home. And as if by some miracle, perhaps it was due to my coaxing of the GPS, perhaps it was due to my mum's screaming at it to shut up, perhaps it was my father's defending of it, the GPS Navman . . . somehow screwed up even more. =___________=
Coincedence? I think not! x]
Here's a close up:
Ah well, I am off to a call of nature people! Happy Australia Day to you all!!! May the Commonwealth star, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon crusis stars (on the Australian flag) shine brightly and smile upon thee. Fare thee well, fellow Australian.

Okay, that autoplay is kinda annoying me too
Does anyone else find it annoying? If you guys do I'll change it back to non-autoplay.
Halfway through the holidays now. I can't stand the thought of work. Even thinking about the potato trial (which I just remembered thanks to "Noob's" comment) makes me instantly like freeze and this wave of annoyance and weariness breaks over me ==;
BTW, who are you noob?
I don't wanna do maths either. Though I know everyone in the grade right now is probably slaving away at their textbooks . . . I feel so scared I'm gonna fall behind.
Typing that makes me feel all emo =[
Lol I'm vsing my sister at work in Minesweeper Flags right now. What a hard worker =P
I love Minesweeper and Flags.
Oh oops
Anyway, just realised that Rain is actually a girl called Sunny and not Lia yesterday ==; Feel so embarrassed LOL
She was like "You don't ever comment on my blog!"
And I was like "WHAT?! ARE YOU STONED? I COMMENT EVERY DAY!!!"
Turns out that wasn't her blog >___<"
In fact, she has more than 8 different blogs lmao
This blog is actually Sunny's (or Rain) lol HI RAIN!!! =DDD
In celebration of my being uncapped, I will now upload all the random spam images I have been dying to load in the past month. A small snapshot of the random things I come across while surfing the net =) Though it will be mostly of Pokemon. So you should stop reading now if Pokemon bore you =[
On an interesting sidenote, the term "surfing the net" came about to ironically describe the minimal energy involved in browsing the Internet.
(I hope this doesn't screw up the HTML because Blogger is extremely anal about HTML. In fact, when editing the template, even something as simple as putting in one extra space at the end of a line will make it not work at all)
Did anyone find that the Board of Studies test yourself quiz pie chart looked more like a PacMan? Probably not cause I was the only one to score that low LOL:
DW I kicked ass at it later on =P
(which was kind of because the questions are exactly the same and you remember the right answers but anywayyyyy)
That's right bitches ;)

But seriously, some of it's pretty hard. Like the very first science question I attempted and miserably failed:
Okay, obviously not D. Because EVERYONE KNOWS the sand will melt into glass on the student =D
Not C because that would make the ground wet which is a big no no in our science Do and Don'ts.
So A or B. I chose B, because you obviously wouldn't tell a kid who was running around screaming OWWW to calmly lie on the ground while you get the fire blanket, throw away the "Last checked April 1989" (yes - I am serious it was last checked around that long ago) tag, unfold it, lie it on the ground, tell the kid to come over, and roll himself in it.
You would obviously grab the fire extinguisher
1. Because it was only last checked in the October of 1991. Over two years after the blanket, and more importantly
2. Some chemical fires require special compounds to be extinguished, and obviously it's easier to run after a kid with a fire extinguisher . . .
Answer was B ==;
Now, onto more random stuff, like my goals.
My goal to get to 100 Facebook notifications! My undying eternal dream. Finally realised!!!
Almost there!!! So close!
WOOOT!!!
Now, I know that all of you nice little kids must have played Minesweeper Flags before. I was versing Richard, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere comes a 6!!! That's right. A six! I have never seen that before in all my years of Minesweeper Flags o_O
See there?! In the bottom left quadrant (or quadrant III if you like =D ).
Speaking of Richard, I decided to name my Pokemon rival after him muahahaha. Because there actually is such a character in Pokemon, who's Ash's best friend and also has a Pikachu and Charmander.
Except I later found out it was spelt Richie and it was too late to change ==;
Near the end of the year, I also managed to catch Arceus. That's right! The most insanely powerful Pokemon ever!
Except my Arceus is the most gangster one you will have ever met, because it's totally haxx0rrrr =D. In comparison, other Arceuses look like Level 2 Rattattas. You see there? It's special ability is Wonder Guard. Only one other Pokemon has that ability, and that's Shedinja, who only has 1 HP. Why? Because Wonder Guard neutralises ALL damage from attacks unless they are supereffective. In which case Shedinja will die instantly because it only has 1 HP. But my Arceus has 999 HP!!! =)
More Pokemon coming up . . .
This made me LOL x]
I love the Warturtle hehe (is that how you spell it? I thought it was an O instead of an A but that looks wrong).
The name's Toise. BLASSSTToise.
Pikachu!!!
NGARGWWHHH
Pikachu and Togepi get drunk xDD
And Clefairy!
Holy crap it's your mom!! Run!!!
Okay fine, no more Pokemon =P
Remember how I was talking about why not to download from Nokia music?
THIS is why:
It's so irritating getting bossed around by a song that you actually bought when you could have just been like 80% of the world and illegally pirate it ==;
Even songs downloaded from iTunes which everyone uses aren't that demandingly irritating -.-" For one you can actually play them on other computers and stuff. The only drawback is it's in a weird format like "m4a" or something o_O
Anyway, moving on . . .
We all played Google Earth flight simulator at school near the end of last year for every single SDD period (since we weren't allowed to DOTA or CS ==;)
BUT DID YOU KNOW . . . you can fly underwater?! LOL
Watch out enemy submarines. I'm gonna ram you =P
No Thesaurus.com - I meant ancient
Ooh btw try Googling recursion. The guys at Google are so awesome =P They end up going "Did you mean recursion?" tehehehhe
Because recursion means like repetition or looping.
By the way, does anyone else get those completely irritating Evony ads on every few pages you visit? Like every time you look up lyrics? So annoying cause I feel all guilty everytime it comes up like I'm looking at something inappropriate so I attempt to hide my screen ==;
(If anyone hasn't seen them, its an ad with some dumb woman with huge boobs going "Play now, My Lord.")
And the dumb thing is, apparently (no I did not sign up ==") "there isn't even any woman in the game".
I hate that sense of guilt. . . . Does anyone else get that feeling of guilt almost as if you're stealing when you walk out of a store without having bought anything, and the cashier/shopkeeper is just staring at you go past. Almost makes me actually want to buy something ==;
Here is another uber freaky ad:
Gross . . . whatever company that is, I sure ain't going there O_O Anyone else the prefer the Before/Normal guy to his New-evil-looking-vein-popping-steroids look?
IN OTHER NEWS:
I was so bored I tried out some of the games on Vista . . .
That's right. I'm a Purble Master ;)
And last of all, the coolest image ever, for having bothered to read this far x]
Open it to full size. IT IS SO COOL!!!
Anyway, me go sleep now =) Night night
